local gem // game day at a little place called Hoffer's

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I love my neighborhood. Within walking distance of my home is this great boulevard filled with neat little shops and places to grab a bite and a beer. And Hoffer's is right in the middle of it all.

The mister and I made plans to watch the Superbowl here with some friends, mainly because we wanted to stay local, but also because we freaking love this place. Twenty-plus beers on tap, with many of them from San Diego breweries? Yes please.
