local gem // La Mesa's Classic Car Show

Jul 10, 2012

One more reason I love my 'hood: every Thursday evening during the summer, La Mesa Boulevard is transformed into a nostalgic antique car show. I noticed it going on a few times last month, but last week I decided to stroll through and check it out.

So many sexy cars. Let's take a peek, shall we?

So not only are there beautiful cars to ogle (for me, it was that incredible red Shelby Mustang), but it's also a chance to socialize with your neighbors (I went with two friends who live down the street from me), and then maybe pop into one of the bars or restaurants right there on the boulevard.

La Mesa, you keep on impressing me.

  4. You are absolutely right! It’s a great way to bond with your family and friends, and a great opportunity to ask tips from vintage vehicle owners on how to maintain cars in good condition.

  5. Oh look at that Mini Cooper! Its color’s just right for the daylight sun! Actually, this car show gives the aura of a “walk in the park” moment with your family and friends. The colors and the variety of the cars seem so fun to look at.
